FWAFA has 3 Performance Ensembles that allow advanced dancers extra performance opportunities.

Junior Dance Company:

• Students in grades 4-6 can audition for this company 
• Students rehearse on Mondays from 4:00 – 5:00pm 
• Students perform twice a year in Dance Company Concerts 
• Students perform in FWAFA Gala Celebration 

Company II:

• Students in grades 7-12 can audition for this company
• Students rehearse on Mondays from 4:00 – 5:30pm
• Students perform twice a year in Dance Company Concerts
• This is considered a training company for the Academy Dance Company

Academy Dance Company:

• Students in grades 9-12 can audition for this company 
• The Academy Dance Company rehearses during one class period every day
• Students perform frequently as representatives of the FWAFA Dance Department
• Students have opportunities to perform a wide variety of choreography set by faculty, students and guest artists
• Students have opportunities to travel

National High School Dance Festival

• Advanced high school dancers have the opportunity to attend this festival with FWAFA every other year
• Students have been selected to perform at this festival
• Students have received scholarships to college and summer programs by attending this festival
